I'm new here and hoping this continues as the thread in this post. My dad Clarence (Red) Davidson was with CASU 51, mostly in the Carolines and Okinawa. Any information available about this unit. He was a machinist mate, keeping the aircraft in shape for the invasion of the Phillipines.
