Me dad joined the RAF in 1937, by the time I knew what the RAF was we were at war and I was hooked. As a youngster I always thought that as he was in the air force he was a pilot, he wasn't, he was groundcrew, most of the war he worked on bombers guns, Heyfords, Whitleys, Halifax and Lancasters...

In the end, courage is all that counts..............

My first car? Mk 2 Triumph 2000, can't remember the year. Nothing particularly great about it, but it was smooth, comfortable, held the road and went well. It constantly overheated at first, some damn fool had put a Mk 1 cylinder head on a Mk 2 block. Eventually I had to replace the sills...

I think what I like about it is it looks as if it belongs in WW2. Straight out of some Pacific dogfight, or back from the Falaise gap..........

In the light of my, very limited but personal, knowledge of 'cadaver' dogs, I strongly suspect that the remains are unlikely to have been on the site for 40 years. Perhaps your community harbours more than one secret...........

I love the stuff, I'm a dark beer fan. Staropramen's pretty good too, but I never see their Dark nowadays. Incidentally, I love their long, tall, lager glass. It's a lousy beer glass but makes a great flower vase...........
