Hi all, I'm new to the site - looks great. I'm interested in America's involvement in the Mariana Islands in WW2. Why exactly did America go in? And what aircraft did they use? Formations? Attack strategies etc. From what I can gather, the US used the Grumman F6F Hellcat, Chance Vought F4U...
