    swordfish wasnt a fighter but it was one of the only biplanes that had a role. torpedoing the Bizmark allowing the navy to zero in on it

    they didnt have enuf tallboys to waste them like that. 617 was under direct instructiongs NOT to jettison their tallboys unless it was life or death. never mind thats an old topic i got mixed up
