I'm trying to establish the call signs for the 98th and 376th Bomb Groups along with those used by their respective squadrons while these units were assigned to the 12th AAF. I'd appreciate any help with this matter. Thanks, Bob

The attached insignia has been more or less connected to the to the 479thFG prior to that units overseas transition from p-38's to P-51's. I'm trying to nail down the actual squadron within the 479th that displayed this insignia. If anyone out there has a photo showing this design in use...
