A proud 42 year husband, father, and University of Georgia graduate, who, after working in both the private and public sectors, went to alma mater's law school, then was a civil practice and trial attorney handling multi-million dollar matters for over 38 years, as a partner in an Atlanta firm, and among other things, was an advisory member of the Law Revision Committee, and member of the Legislation Committee, of the Georgia Bar, a bar association president, a member of the Law-related Consortium of the Carl Vinson Institute of Government at the University of Georgia, a faculty member of the Georgia Institute of Continuing Legal Education, an Advocate for Special Needs Children, a member of pro bono projects, a youth sports coach, a former Jaycee president and Jaycee of the Year, a Special Assistant Attorney General, and elected to Who's Who In American Law.
