Are there any more running napier sabres around? Ive always wanted to hear what an original one sounds like. are there any flying Tempests or typhoons for tha matter? I kno0w there are a few Tempest with Radial engines but ive never seen a 'Sabre engined one.

i got a wimpy little compaq evo i think it only has about 8 megs on an integrated vid card. i can run the game ok in a window but there still cant be too many planes, and no ground units at al or shell lock up worse than a merlin with no oil.....hopefully will get a new Rig soon

I dont know much gunnery, but something doesn't make sense to me. I always hear about american naval and army planes taking a tremendous pounding from enemy heavy mg's and 20mm cannons, even fighters taking direct hits from 40mm shells, and still get home. How is it that these same planes got...

My name says it all...Big, Tough and with 8 .50 you can shred everything exept tanks. One thing always bothered me about the Tiffy tho. How did it do so well in all that ground fire with that huge radiator out front...That thing was begging for a cannon shell...

I probably wont be able to get the later il2 games, my computer can barely handle the first game...*sigh*
