    When was the last time you used this as guidance?

    This is on permanent display at Sky Manor Airport, one of our lunch stops as we bike through the hills of NJ. Sky Manor is small but very active. The light structure sat upon a tower pictured below. Oh, what memories.When do you last see one actively in use?

    Help me ID this WW2 fighter

    This Marine fighter was parked at our local small airport Sky Manor in NJ after Memorial Day. Looks like a Ryan FR Fireball but it has no "turbo/jet." The only Fireballs produced went to the Navy VF-66 as escorts at the very end of the war. Any other idea?
