    B-26 "The Milk Run Special"

Looking for any info and especially good photo of a B-26 with nose art "The Milk Run Special". I have one very small grainy image, trying to help a young lady learn more about her grand daddy who was a crew member. (Trying to get dates, theater, unit etc...)

    P-51C Mustang Video

After engine start, as hydraulics pressurize, inner gear doors close. Normal gear retraction cycles inner doors open, gear retract, and inner doors follow again. On shutdown, as pressure bleeds, the doors sag and open.

    He 162 A-2 - Werk Nummer 120076

It is curious that a museum has not snatched this bird up. Price for a virtually new He 162 is reasonable enough, complete with an unused BMW 003 engine...? See listing at Welcome to Platinum Fighter Sales

    The Pacific - Finally

I really had to shake my head when I saw a Peregrine Falcon, in the jungle, picking at the head of a dead soldier. It's the small things that make or break it for me, even though I give Hollywood a lot of room for error.

Museo de Cuatro Vientos, Madrid, Spain

Fantastic - I am loving this tour of what is clearly a very fine museum that I probably won't be able to see myself. Some extraordinary pre-WW2 light aircraft frequently overlooked because they are overshadowed by the more "glamorous" heavy metal. Thanks, Gekho! Very, very cool.

    The Pacific - Finally

The current issue (April 2010) of the U.S. Naval Institute's magazine "Naval History" is devoted to this Pacific mini-series and worth looking for in your local bookstores...One thing it pointed out that I had not really given serious thought was that the "civilian casualties per military...

Lockheed says F35 will replace F15's

My Lockheed retirement is safe - no worries! The F-35 will be everything it is promised to be. As for highly maneuverable, how maneuverable would it need to be if it shot you down before you detected it?
