You did a great job cleaning this document up. Looks really good!

1:72 Matchbox Lysander full restoration try

Did the unclogger also help separate the parts or did you do something else to get it down to individual parts. Looking good so far. I have a model Stranraer that I did a bit of painting and assembly a while back that I want to redo. Used Testor enamels on it.

F-35 Crash rate compared - Military Aviation History channel

A well researched video using sound methodology for his conclusions. A good video to watch regardless of whether you are for or against the F-35.

DCS Mosquito FB VI Trailer Video

Looks awesome! I read elsewhere that DCS worked with Avspecs of NZ which is the group that has rebuilt 3 of the currently flying Mosquitos. Two of the paint schemes that I saw here are ones that are very similar to the ones Avspecs rebuilt.

    Avro Anson documents

Thanks MiTasol for continuing your scanning efforts. It’s nice to have a Mk I version of the pilot’s notes. :)

    Avro Anson documents

Thanks for posting these. It’s nice to see the more detailed Volume 1 of the AP instead of the much more common Pilots Notes.

    McDonnell Douglas/Boeing Merger

Back around the late nineties or early 2000s, I saw a chart in Aviation Week and Space Technology magazine that showed over the previous 20-30 years, how the defence industry in the US went from about 50 companies to the 5 or 6 we see today. It started with about 50 companies on the left side of...

1/48 RAF Night Fighter dual build Tamiya Beaufighter & Blenheim

Sorry, I guess my post wasn’t clear. I have a low resolution copy of the whole page but the text on it isn’t very readable because of the low resolution. The excerpt of the page that you posted is quite legible and helps with most of the text on the page. I’ll keep searching for the page. Cheers!

1/48 RAF Night Fighter dual build Tamiya Beaufighter & Blenheim

Do you have the whole page of this picture? I have a low resolution copy of it but can’t read the text on it. If you can post a clean scan of the whole page, that would be greatly appreciated.

A Mosquito raid on Berlin March 1945

The link says that the 130 kg is of metal castings and forgings (besides the engines). So there would be a lot more metal than that. How much would all the armour plate weigh? Probably close to that much on its own.

Nice Shots of a Restored Sopwith Triplane

If this is the Triplane at the Canadian Aviation and Space Museum then these pics were taken in 1967 when a few old WW I aircraft were put in the air for a bit for the 100 anniversary of Canada. So it is quite likely that the original engine was used. It definitely has a rotary engine in it. I...

Nice Shots of a Restored Sopwith Triplane

This looks like the Sopwith Triplane (Black Maria) that was a part of the Canadian National Aeronautical Collection and is now in the Canadian Aviation & Space Museum in Ottawa, Canada. They did get a number of the old aircraft in the collection flying for the 100th anniversary of Canada (in...

Looking for manuals of the De Havilland Mosquito

MiTasol, Thank you very much for both the info on the manuals in my area and the DIY book scanner! I’ve been wanting to get to the museum’s library for a while but their hours of operation are not conducive to someone with a day job. But when I do get there, I hope to have made the book scanner...

Looking for manuals of the De Havilland Mosquito

This is great. I have thoroughly enjoyed going through it. I did notice it is missing the last two sections. Does anyone have those by chance? They are: Section 10 - Electrical and Radio Installations Section 11 - Armament and Equipment Installations. TIA Vic
