Did the British Air Ministry consider 0.55 in (14 mm) guns?

That was another reason for eight machine guns as one being jammed or whatever leaves you with seven to keep using.

"All of Vlad's forces and all of Vlad's men, are out to put Humpty together again."

That is from the Tropic of Cancer being decided on as the dividing line and is why it was.

"All of Vlad's forces and all of Vlad's men, are out to put Humpty together again."

In the case of Hawaii NATO could go to article 4. Under Article 4 of NATO's founding treaty, members can bring any issue of concern, especially related to the security of a member country, to the table for discussion within the North Atlantic Council. Since 1949, article 4 has been invoked...

"All of Vlad's forces and all of Vlad's men, are out to put Humpty together again."

The tropic of Cancer is the Southern limit for NATO. Member states have no obligation to come to the defence of any territory below the line. The Falkland islands and Hawaii are both South of the Tropic of Cancer so neither would trigger article 5.

Did the British Air Ministry consider 0.55 in (14 mm) guns?

The RAF did a lot of testing for fighter guns in the thirties and the .303 was chosen due to being able to fire at a good rate plus allowing fighters to have more guns fitted than many other countries fighters of the time. The RAF also did testing against airframes rather than flat plate as a...

    WW2 Aviation Comics

I have a reissue of the Phantom goes to war. A thick comic with all you could want as Bengalla is invaded and the Phantom organises the defences, captures the enemy general, saves Diana, and so on. Definite classic along with a lot of the Commando comics.

Why bacon is the most important food that has ever existed...

Interesting comment considering the original "laboratory" findings about cholesterol and red meat. The red meat causing bowel and other cancers came from rats being fed meat. Fair enough on the surface but info since has shown that rats are used for a lot of tests as there are two chemicals...

    Rn vs IJN

Hitler made the same mistake with Britain. Japan made the same mistake with the United States. Napoleon mad the same mistake with Russia in 1812. None of these lot realised that life is something that gets in the way of our plans.

    What Annoyed You Today?

Alady rang in to local radio. She had finished paying her mortgage and the bill to get her title deed back was $360.00. She went in with $360.00, got to the counter, told the bank cashier she was there to pay for her deed. The response ? I'm sorry, the bank doesn't have the facilities to handle...

With tanks that is correct. Olive drab could look anything from green to brown/green. Fading and field painting adds to the differences. Sometimes thinner wasn't available so even fuel could be used as a substitute. With acrylics this makes it easy to produce your own. I use tube acrylics...

    Rn vs IJN

The change in attack methods came about in part because the Italian fleet could not afford to lose it's larger vessels as they were still a threat but were vulnerable if sailed. The RN could not go too close to enemy held areas once they were defended by air as the risk became too high...
