The Early 109 tested by the Russians is an A, please note the long leading edge slats. All 109's in Spain up to 6o19 were either V or A series.

In Planes of the Luftwaffe Fighter Aces by Barbas, on page 124, there is a color photo of a mechanic painting a yellow spiral on a black and red segmented spinner. There is also a color photo in one of the old Monogram Luftwaffe colors books by Smith and Gallespy of a whole line up of FW-190's...

Hi, just joined this morning. I'm an aircraft modeler from western PA who works exclusively in 1/72. I've been building seriously for a little over 30 years. My main area of interest is WWII with a focus on Luftwaffe, however I do build all eras.
