Being one of my 3 favorite planes, I'd be happy to see the engies run and taxi. Of this type, to few remain. And one of the more complicated planes trying to be flown; more complex, more potential problems.
Safety and common sense I'd assumed are obviously aspects of skill. Seems some who are "high rated" lack one or both traits. Just because you have a driving permit doesn't make you the right person to own a 200mph car.
Couldn't stand the freak pervert when alive, now put up with his face and noise more since he's dead.
Bury him deep and move on, both literally and the media.
Agreed the Luftwaffe material has expanded to a dramatic degree. British aircraft topics also.
Needed is more on Italian and Japanese aircraft, overall as well as in English.
5 of my volumes of German Cross holders have been released, the 6th will be in early 2010
Motörhead just annouced some US show dates, so will be at one of those (at least).
Here are the US Heaven and Hell show dates for 2009:
Aug 08 Seattle, WA USA WaMu Theater
Aug 10 San Jose, CA Event Center Arena
Aug 11 Los Angeles, CA Greek Theater
Aug 12 Phoenix, AZ Dodge Theater...
Some of those private owned on the site I posted will fly.
I'd rather not see the last couple or sole examples of things fly. Better left in a museum.
The site is great for Japanese stuff and Italian, otherwise I'd know where many examples are (or that they even existed).
Looking for period photos (not warbirds) like this one I bought from Boeing in 20 x 30 format.
Black and white or color
I look for 11 x 14 or larger quality.
It costs for quality photographic prints, not looking for scanner junk.
Photo and frame (pro framery) for below came to $210...
"Aces High" (3 vols) covers all the Commonwealth aces for making a compilation. The 1st covers aces, 2nd 2 to 4 kills, 3rd a photo album. Anal detailed and accurate (the way I like books to be).
