Thanks guys~~
Thanks Lancaster630,your idea is really good.I think it is the time to remove them.
I was confused about the "black" for a long time as well. Though in the WW2 smoke-less fire powder has been widly used, nearly all modellers still add that "black".
Thanks Mike, for the infomation about MAUS.I did't know anything about MAUS's transmissions before.
I have been in a Locomotive HUGE factory in china. It's like a small town.
The Locomotive is just drive by 2-3 electric motor which just tied on the shaft(tooo simple to belive). And all the...
Mike, as a mechanical engineer who design reducers everyday, I have to say that the to design MAUS's transmission sytem is desaster for a designer. Unless they use electrical system like Ferdinand's.
Yes . it is one of my stuff.
The winter camouflage was done like this :
1. Paint the Suviet green all over the body with GUNZE or GAIA
2. Stab the tamiya acrylic white thinned with 75% alcohol(100% will ruin the base colour)by a round headed brush and try to keep the spots small and radom...
I built it on June 2010.
OOB,No extra parts at all, just rebuilt the front light with clear resin.:)

To Mikewint: I read the whole post of Mr.Wayne Little in the morning, and learn a lot from it. Thank you.The pastel chalks here we also used on some specific occassions, like german estern-front camouflage. Its a really nice way. but i have to say it's not universal.
Wash ,you dont need to repanit...
No need to sigh. I've seen your M48. It shows you a goood basic skills.
You just need some courage to start weathering. Try it with WASH and Dry brush (or Dry shot?) first. Simple, easily correct and obvious effected.
Nice job~~i like the third photo!~.
And I think you might wash the tank with very thin black+brown enamel colour next time(just brush on and wait to dry ,no need to clean if enamel colour is thin enough).Simple and greatly enhance the sense of precision. I think It will be a good starting point...
Thank you Mr.Jan~.
And I heard about you from Mr.Airframe. Nice to meet you here.
You are interested in "tanks", right? Hope we can improve our skills through communicating.:D
