I saw you post about your neighbour being a pilot with 101. My wife father was a navigator with 101 and was based a Ludfor (Mudford) Magna - and I'm trying to find out some information and may be people who remember him. He was called James Grant (he died 1994). My wife was born when James was already at an age when most are having grandchildren (1971). We now have a young son and he's interested in learning more as we are too.
I can't help but wondering if your neighbour would have a recollection of James Grant. I know the squadrons were big with lots of men - but I thought it was worth asking.
