  • I'm afraid I can't think of any dealing specifically with aircraft coolants. Usually you're just going for water with a few percent of ethylene glycol mixed in as anti-freeze. I haven't heard of anything more advanced around today.

    I seem to remember that Bill Gunston in "Piston Aircraft Engines" provides a fair overview of engine systems and there is some stuff on coolants in there.
    Hi this is RDB again..that book you suggested on the thread did help..thank you very much..do you by any chance know a book i can refer to for aircraft coolants as well?..please let me know..
