My father, Carl Thomas Kidd, Sr., was stationed at Le Shima in 1945 and drove the N model jug into Japan. Before the war ended he scored 4 kills with one probable. He always said the N model had the Prat and Whitney R3350 radial engine, but I can find no records to verify. Any body out there...
