Catch22
Major
Here is my Ki-84, minus the flaps, canopy and pilot, but it won't really change much. The build was great, but it turned out to be a frustrating model for a number of reasons. Originally, I was going to do this plane:
1. It was my first time using an airbrush, so I had a couple issues with the spraying of the Alclad II. On the tail it crackled, so it looked like dried mud.I had to sand it off, but by that time I didn't have enough Alclad to spray what had been sanded, so hence the green.
2. The tape didn't hold along where the sun deflector is so a bunch of black pain decided to bleed.
Regardless of those issues, I don't think it looks half bad, especially now that the decals are on. And, to my surprise, the arrow held out, so I didn't have to fix it. For the tail arrow, I used FrisketFilm, which is a tape like item but it comes in a sheet.
Here it is!
I'll post a picture when it's completely done.
