While I wait for replacement parts for my Spitty vb that I screwed up. I will enter this one for the time being. Will use Alclad II aluminum #ald101 for overall finish. I really think,up to now that this is just one of those gems that just seem to go together by themselves. Will keep you posted. Hu 75 bronze green for the cockpit and I think the turret gunner area, then yellow or green zinc oxide for the remainder Is the bombay nmf or gz ozide

don't forget to put up your details...:D

Whatever it means..

The first post is of incorrect form for being the GB entry. Untill it isn't edited I'm going to leave it as it is and it won't be made " stick" To be honest I'm quite tired with editing almost all threads because of incorrect titles or forms.

Of course the title of the thread isn't correct too.

This is where I am at. For an old kit,it sure is a nice fitting bird

I have managed to get some stuff done. I figure that since when it is all buttoned up, you will not see anything. That I will concentrate on the outer final NMF and use the inside for trying new stuff, like everyday wear and tear. The clear bits are great. The wing root fits like a glove. As far as the turret goes. I am just going to glue it in place. I am not 5 anymore. I know that all you old timers know this, but I just found out how nice this one goes together. I am used to 1/32 not 1/48,but here is the rub. I have always built fighters before all 32 or 24,but when it comes to bombers for me it is 48 for the simple reason, only a complete mental case(or a man with plenty of space) would even try to build 32 in all the relevant planes like this to a B29,Lanc or Condor or let just say an ju52. Big s**t. New tips needed. You tell me,I will try..BTW If you do come to Toronto, you must get a pizza from here.

Looking good. But why have you painted the turret frame with the silver? As memo serves it was of the interior colour. So the one should have been applied as the first one.
