Thanks guys..... ;)
Since this is an F6F-5, and I am building a 5N,
in comes the cun conversion. I did have to open the holesin the wings to 1.1mm, I have a round file that size.
And..... I had to remove some plastic at those holes from the inside of the wing halves to make the resin parts fit.
All in all it worked to get the halves to meet flush. Maybe gear legs and wells next, who knows.

Thanks Vic.
More time on the bench today than planned.
If I cab describe how small G45 is. It's that little pointy part on the Mouse Terd size piece of spru next to where it goes.
It actually has a Pin and hole to locate it??????????? GADZOOKS!

The Raydome is resin. An okay fit but had to do some filing on the radius of the inside to match the leading edge of
the wing to make it fit snug with little gap! Am now setting gear legs in place....... it goes on and on.

So to further he position question and fit.
there is the result of moving the resin piece to it's proper location.
Wing thinner in this area a 0.5mm piece of styrene added.

Then filed and sanded to the barrel shape.
Too easy. It is where it is. On to the cockpit.
