1/48 Fi 156 Storch Mussolini rescue - Mediterranean Theater of Operations
    Username: Donivanp

    Category: Intermediate
    Scale: 1/48
    Manufacturer: Tamiya
    Model Type: Fi 156 Storch
    Aftermarket addons: none

The daring mountain top rescue by plane of Mussolini remains one of WW II notable moments. Landing a Fi 156 much less taking off with considerably more weight was something that most likly the Storch was the sole fixed wing aircraft of it's day could have done. Using the Tamiya 1/48 Storch SOB.

A very nice aircraft, so good choice. I was able to get a real close look at Kermit Weeks Storch and a demo on a visit to the now defunct Fantasy of Flight a couple of years back.

    This should go together well.
