BTW, the rudder is actually Green as it was on the original C-47.

Been a Year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WT?
WOW, no idea it's been that long. In the beginning I was going to do All the flying A/C at HARS, but then I realized that was just a bit silly. So now it's just the C-47 and Connie. I will give them to the volunteer who spends the most time on the plane, a Grunt, not a pilot. So here it is, as a Low Rider, no wheels yet. At a quick glance she's looking okay. Realize now, ALL the decals are custom, from DANGER PROPELLER to the Roundels as they are actually a non-standard size. Still a bit of work to go, but mostly some thorny bits. I have forgotten to paint the leading edges black, and the roundels are right up on the seem!!!!!! Gotta come up with something.

It Was clever!😎
But didn't hold up, the pin was just too bloody thin, and it brokrded!
$25 +post for the white metal replacement. Too much for a giveaway I am afraid so have to come up with another soul t ion.

GB56 has stalled a bit. Waiting for a time to receive some Alclad Polished Aluminium paint......

SO in the meantime I have come back the the C-47.
Got the rudder attached.
The pitot tubes under the chin.
Tail wheel sorted, bit of a butcher job but!
Finalizing the radio antennae, there are two, three I dunno.
Got the Lndg Lts in, lost one clear cover..... FM!!!!!
And the clearance lights at wing tips, they're a bit diff!
First is the wing tip of the HARS A/C.
Next I used Styrene, 1mmx2mm and .25mmx5mm strips.
I filed and sanded the 1x2 into the light housing shape,
attached them to the .25x5 and let them set.
The trimmed the .25 to resemble the shade,
keeps the light from being to bright for the pilots.
Attached and painted. Getting closer to the give-away!!!!!

Looking at the wing tip light which looks to be below the the leading edge of the wing. how can that be a distraction to the pilot who would be facing forward well in front of the light. Seems to me they were being a bit precious. :D
