I would say the basic paint was the gloss one. But your kite is going to be of more worn out "uniform" so.. the satin one sounds good.

and so I thought but was hesitating and before doing something like that because I prefer to ask you for advice, and I gave the satin varnish and just give you a hand dirtied end above, now when dry'll give the last coat of varnish and ready for put as finished.
