Building this one for my father as he loves biplanes! My goal is to have it complete for Christmas!

I even have a 1/48 Tamiya Stringbag in a box too. The Airfix kit is a joy to build but does take time even in 1/72 scale.
 
New tool with wing fold, but I will have the wings spread on this one.

Those Trumpeter kits are HUGE!!
 
First update, switched to the 1/48 Tamiya kit, still an Mk I in pre war scheme. Avenger is done, and the parts for the ol Stringbag are done drying so a working I will be a doing!
 
I keep hearing good things about this kit, alot of people said it is an easy kit so we will see!
