I've been hanging on to these for many years. I found them in the basement of my first house. I really have no idea what I'm looking at in terms of what planes they go to, their value, or anything other than the obvious. Dates on a few of them are in the '30s, so I thought maybe you guys might know a thing or two. Thanks, - Ari

Hi there,

The cone shaped item is a loop antenna for radio compass S.C.R. 269 and AN.ARN7 widely fitted to US Military Aircraft in WWII, mainly produced by the Bendix Co.

Both Gyro's are the Gyro Horizon Indicator Type AN-5736-1 by Sperry. Appearing in bombers B-17, B-24, B-25 and others, as well as fighters P-38, P-40, P-47, and P-51.

I think the production date on these are more likely to be the 1940's.

The periscope does strike me more as something from a vehicle rather than a/c.

Cheers Sander

Congratulations
I strongly suspect the prop blade is from a ground adjustable prop. The DC-1 and 2 had variable pitch at that time but this blade is missing the spider hole and other features of the variable pitch and two pitch propellers.
