Everyone says "three lions" but as a heraldic symbol they are not lions, or they are the thinnest female female lions you ever saw.Don't blame me...
CBS Sports Headline: "Three Lions on the Cusp of World Cup History"
Dalmatian dogs originated in Croatia, some one spotted them there.Groan....
In that same vein, if France wins and England wins, then we can have 1066 all over again!
Ironic though, the "Three Lions" take that symbolism from Richard I who was progeny of William the Conqueror, a Norman. Ol' Bill used the 2 lion standard and his castle in Caen still remains.
That said, I'd like to see Belgium and Croatia... just to be different!
Yeah, two good teams, both deserve to win.
Because Kante is defending,Hmm, the defending team scores.
They are all defending. France is a good team, but don't play attractive football. Don't think the Belgians will make it though.Because Kante is defending,
In the first half most of the counter attacks France made were started by Kante, if you look at the stats for interceptions, blocks and tackles Kante will be at the top, he always is, he was for Leicester and for Chelsea. They are all defending. But if you look at the match, for 80% of the time all French players are at their own half. That's what I mean with all French players defending. It's boring but effective. In the first half most of the counter attacks France made were started by Kante, if you look at the stats for interceptions, blocks and tackles Kante will be at the top, he always is, he was for Leicester and for Chelsea.
Belgium played like Arsenal, they had the ball and huffed and puffed without creating much, France had the better chances even in the first half. But if you look at the match, for 80% of the time all French players are at their own half. Don't agree. England does not play anti-football like the French. If it is England in the final, in will cheer for England ( actually I won't cheer, at that moment I will be watching 13 spitfires flying over Duxford)
