I do not know if you have heard of Norman Borlaug, but his is a story worthy of honoring. IMO he deserved the Nobel Peace Prize as much as anyone ever has.
There is a program that shows up occasionally on the Public Broadcasting System (PBS) here in the US. I highly recommend watching it if available to you.
