While 30 P-40N were converted to TP-40N two seaters in WW2 with that 2nd cockpit waaayyyyy in the back I have not seen pictures of any of them flying around in the modern era other than the one in the movie, which has that rear cockpit canopy painted over. I can only assume that the one from the movie was later converted to single seat configuration, or else was lost in a crash. It seems odd, but nowadays certain types are more numerous than they were 50 years ago.

Well the movie that streams is "Death Race".
However, googling "An Encounter with Death" gets that video - and "Death Race" is not mentioned in the info on Youtube.

An unforgettable war film with Lloyd Bridges as the star | War, Action | An Encounter Against Death

In the North African desert in World War II, a crippled American fighter plane that is unable to take off tries to evade and destroy a pursuing Nazi tank.

However, googling "An Encounter with Death" gets that video - and "Death Race" is not mentioned in the info on Youtube.
I Googled "An Encounter with Death" and this is what came up - Google Search

According to the IMDb, the working title for Death Race was "Duel in The Desert". An alternative title for it was "State of Division".
I translated all of the foreign titles listed for that movie and none of them translated "An Encounter with Death".
I looked up the title, "An Encounter with Death" on the IMDb, and the only movie that came up with that exact title (minus "An") was a 2006 short that was made for the whoppingly huge sum of $490.
The fact that it has a picture of two cars crashing as the movie's poster leads me to believe that is not the same movie that you are referring to.
Finally, I went to YT and searched for "An Encounter with Death". I did locate a hit under the title "An Encounter against Death".
I also searched for "Death Race 1973 Doug McClure" and this movie also came up, under the title "Death Race" (neato vintage coming attractions at the beginning to!).
At this point in time, I believe what you've discovered is a typo, which is something YT is fraught with.
