AAC.1 Toucan Ju 52 variant assembled postwar in France used as a bomber over Indochina in 1951

IIRC, the Ju 52 at the Deutchesmuseum in Munich was a Toucan. It was even painted silver and still had its French markings when I saw it in the mid-70s. It looked like it had been painted with a paintbrush. No photos, unfortunately, but I specifically remember the rough paint finish.

That does indeed appear to be the case:

This aircraft was delivered to the French Air Force in 1947. It was flown to Munich-Riem Airport for the Deutsches Museum in 1957. It has recently been refurbished and returned to display following a number of years' absence.

Using JU-52 / AAC-1 to drop ordnance had already been performed during the repression of the 1947/48 Madagascar insurrection with raids using hand grenades and aerial bombs.

I believe the original type was also used as a bomber before WWII during the Spanish Civil War:
