Hi Guys, well the SA Plastic Model Expo is done for 2009 and I report the following from my entries....

1/144 - A6M2 Zero - Micro Aviation - SECOND Place
1/72 - Ta152 - Small scale Prop- FIRST Place
1/48 - Fw190A-9 - Medium Scale Single Engine Axis Prop - SECOND Place
1/32 - Ki-84 - Large Scale Prop - FIRST Place
1/48 - Me262 - Medium Scale Jet WWII to Cold War Era - FIRST Place

So I guess I did a bit of alright!
 
Hearty congratulations mate, cant say I'm at all surprised. Your going to have to show us your models and the ones that that pipped you into second place.

 
Thanks Fellas, had a few people ask about the finish on the Ki-84, they were rather gob-smacked at how it turned out...wanted to know how I got it so right...

Took plenty of pics Vic, just got to start sorting them out now!

My Tamiya 262 with Kettenkrad is next in line after the 110 and I've already looked at your progress shots for pointers.
 
Great result Wayne, well done mate. Agree with Jan though, the '190A should have got a First. Have you got the addresses for the judges..........
 
Congratulations Wayne! Looking forward to the photos. It must have been some stiff competition when your superb Fw 190A-9 came in second...

Well I may as well start with the Large Scale Prop section, and my Ki-84....she scored 98 out of a possible 100!!

Most of you saw the recent build in the PTO thread so I won't bore you with too many pics!
