Adolf Dickfeld JG2/JG52 Has Passed On..

As reported by Kurt Braatz over on the Twelve O' Clock High Forum:

"I have just received news that Adolf Dickfeld has passed away early this week. Dickfeld flew with JG 2 and JG 52. He had been credited with 132 kills and decorated with the Knight's Cross and Oak Leaves. On Feb 20 next year, he would have turned 100."

One of my research contacts contacted me the day he died which was on May 17, 09.

the man was also Kommandeur of Reich defense unit II./JG 11 operating Bf 109G's on April 17, 1943.
