Thanks for correcting me! Now I see that there is a third baby-engine behind the chin-turret! It becomes better and better. Just wondered, could the free flying turret be the belly turret of the "babyfort" only upside down?
This is not the pilot - the pilot is a midget/dwarf inhabiting the space above him. (Could be another creature as well).This is the (in)famous feet-gunner indeed, only seen on "babyforts". Don't know what's the best description for the guy in the nose though: the "torso only"-gunner maybe?

Which side got the single engine seems to have swapped around if you look at the planes in the rear (especially the left one)

The baby-fortress also has to take off with all 3 wheels on the ground, and make 3 point landings.

wait, i get it, the floating guy on the bottom of the screen is attached by an invisible string to the baby fort, as ball turret gunners were deemed to unsafe for regular baby forts. in addition on landing, they dump the floating dude into the sea, and he swims to shore.

I thought he was attached to another baby fort, most of which was out of picture.

and I thought he was in a self aviating turret surrounded by a force field so that the wind, cold, noise and lack of oxygen at altitude did not affect him.
