It's weird how the battle field is devolving and evolving. Trenches, AI drones, low profile Soviet tanks with tall defensive works, propeller planes armed with pissed-off gunners firing shotguns at jet engined, Horten shaped drones mimicking the first WW 1aerial combats...I ain't even getting into the political weirdness.
Strange war.
 

I can't remember who it was who coined the phrase "The past is prologue" but it's certainly apt here.
 
This is interesting, because quite some time back, the discussion of possible COIN aircraft options for Ukraine was shot down (pun intended) because they would be a liability on the battlefield.

True, but I think Tucanos and other modded prop jobs won't be exposed to front-line stuff so much. There's still the long-range SAMs, sure, but playing backstop, they're probably in a good mission slot.
