Senior Master Sergeant
Aluminum Overcast showed up over the weekend. I stopped by on Saturday and again Sunday morning to get some shots of her in the air. Visibility was so bad that the first flight was cut short and the second was cancelled. Sunday morning a female CW2 walked over from the USAR Air Cav unit next door. I took a couple of photos of her in the noise playing with the 50 cals and bombsite. I was talking to her afterwards and her grandfather flew B-17s during the war. I found out that she is a AH-64 pilot. We talked a little about the
B-17 and the army in general. She inviated me over to the unit's Christmas party and to check out the birds. They are transitioning from the C models to the Ds. Since my father was with me and it was 40 degrees outside, I had to take a rain check. I have photos on CD and will posting them later today.
