Cool series, I liked it very much. I wish it would have been a bit more extensive though.
I read somewhere that this series was not VHS released in the States due to their 'apologetic' nature towards the Axis powers.
 
Well I have to say that the atomic bomb back story is a bit pathalogical, but the animators certainly know their airplanes that's for sure. Good post.
