**** this really sucks another chap who I interviewed at some length through letter. Dr.J. was quite a special kind man.

his claim to fame was Bördfunker to Martin "Tino" Becker through the wr years ending in StabIV./NJG 6 flying two different Ju 88G-6's. Ritterkreuz winner, shot down 3 BC heavies on a March 1945 eve with his single MG 131.

not many of the RK winners left of any branch of the Wehrmacht/SS

going everyday not to mention our own relatives, my side of the familie is gone my wifes of WW 2 age has dementia so many questions will never be answered.........

Karl was a great guy very free with his info about his a/c and his service, I have much data on him and Tino, what an incredible LW NJ team they were
 
I have a few relatives left who served in the Wehrmacht. This makes me want to go and talk with them even more.

Unfortunately all of the people on my American side of the family who served in WW2 are all gone.
