Here's a Mig-21 in US markings. It came by way of Israel in 1966. I couldn't resist it. Kit is an old Airfix in 1/72 scale.

Nice one Ed. Did you mould a different canopy? The earlier MiG21s had the front-opening canopy, although I'd have to check that this was not replaced in US use. Looking very good though mate.

Looking good Ed, looking forward to the finished result.
I'll admit, you had me thinking about that MiG 21 - didn't think the canopy was replaced, but got me going a bit ! Can you use the kit canopy, or is it a poor moulding? I built this kit when it was first released in the 1960s, and remember wondering how Airfix got the info to design the kit, it being so 'secret' then !!
