Here's a Mig-21 in US markings. It came by way of Israel in 1966. I couldn't resist it. Kit is an old Airfix in 1/72 scale.

Nice one Ed. Did you mould a different canopy? The earlier MiG21s had the front-opening canopy, although I'd have to check that this was not replaced in US use. Looking very good though mate.

Very nice. I like seeing aircraft with captured marking, e.g. P-51 with German markings.

I'm working on two Mustangs now in German captured markings, a "B" and a "D". Here is an in-progress pic

Looking good Ed, looking forward to the finished result.
I'll admit, you had me thinking about that MiG 21 - didn't think the canopy was replaced, but got me going a bit ! Can you use the kit canopy, or is it a poor moulding? I built this kit when it was first released in the 1960s, and remember wondering how Airfix got the info to design the kit, it being so 'secret' then !!
