Aviation bomb sight

I found this in a attic in southern NM. I believe it to be a bomb sight of some sort. It has no markings and the front plate is missing. It's about 3' tall and weighs about 100#s. I can't find anything on it so I am hoping someone in these forums would know what it is.

Based on what is written on the device it reminds me of Missile Range tracking equipment that was used by ground personnel which would also fit the Southern NM location.

If for use in that vertical position I cannot see that it is a bombsight. Just too big to fit in what is normally a cramped location.
