There was also the Australian 'long-nosed' Mk 31 maritime Lincoln with the 1.98 metre nose extension to accommodate a tactical navigator and three sonobuoy operators. The story goes this extension for the nose was so poorly executed by GAF that when the Lincoln flew though heavy rain the crew members were forced to wear rain coats.
