During the war, the designation of all of the Boeing company's technical reports started with the "Model" (B-17E, B-17G, etc.) and then a "D- " number (D-5400, for example). Does anybody have a list of the technical documents issued by Boeing during the war relating to the B-17F/G? Does anyone have the D- designations for the B-17F/G structural stress reports?

Go to boeing.com, then pick Company, and then pick History. At the bottom of the History scroll is information on contacting Boeing's historical services group. They might be able to give you document numbers for B-17 structural reports.
