I'm guessing (hoping?) that this is a different airframe than the one GrauGeist mentioned a while back. I think Dave said that that one is in Texas and "they know what they got."

The one referenced above is "Desert Rat" which at one time had been converted to the XC-108. It's being returned to it's original delivery configuration. Ram Moore, over in NS is build an F model from scratch to replicate "Lucky Thirteen" 42-3455. Their website is Hangarthirteen.org. Ray has been instrumental in almost every B-17 restoration for years now, fabricating parts that almost no one else would even try.

Yep, as mentioned above, that is Desert Rat (41-2595).
