B-17E "Yankee Doodle Jr."- Academy 1:72

Hello!

A Pacific theater Fortress, 431 BS/11 BG/13 AF, "Bomber Field No. 1" airbase, Espiritu Santo island, south Pacific.
Machine was lost on New Year's Eve 1942/43 during a "liquor ride".

Academy set contains fine decals printed by "Cartograf".
I have used resin engines, superchargers, wheels and machine guns -original parts were poor.
