B-29 in central Texas ?

I was at work (out doors) and heard the sound of a multi-engine radial aircraft and that will get my attention faster than most things. I spotted it about 3 to 5 miles to my north at about 3000' AGL headed north bound. I was in San Marcos (between Austin and San Antonio). It could have been a DC-6 ?? but I know for sure it was not a B-17 or B-24. Anyone know of any quad-engine radials flying around these parts today?

It could be Fifi traveling to WW2 weekend in Pennsylvania. Its giving flights Thursday thru Sunday. I'll be there and I can't wait to see her.

It sure did look like a B-29 ! It had the big B-17 vertical fin but the rest of the aircaft looked like a 29. I have not seen FiFi since the 70's.
