Just seen it on the BBC Internet News - described, in the brief report, as crashing soon after take off, with all seven crew members safe.

Glad the crew made it.

Seems to be a bad day in the aviation world. An Egypt Air Airbus A321 from Paris to Cairo with 69 souls on board has disappeared over the Med.

Sad to see the old girl down, but certainly glad to hear the crew made it out safely.

Yeah...that Egyptair newsflash just came across a little while ago...no details yet...certainly a sad event if it turns out it went down.

With regards to the Egypt Air flight it has been confirmed crashed with debris found in the Mediterranean.

They now are reporting the debris is not from the Egypt Air flight.
