Greetings ladies and gentlemen.
Wow ! Over 3,000 posts since my last visit !
Anyway, my flight to London and back went on without any problem... The only thing that bugged me was the fact that I had to pay £88.00 for a friggin taxi from Heathrow Airport to my hotel. (I wasn't going to take the tube with my bags...)
Anyway... I got something like 800 Mo of pictures and short video clips. Which are very HQ, so I had to host them on a image host to make sure I wouldn't slow down anyone surfing on this thread.
Anyway, to begin with, here is the view I had from my hotel room's window... You can see the Imperial War Museum's dome in the background.
An interresting thing : unlike in many North-American hotels, there isn't any soft drinks/candies machine anywhere in the hotel. To drink/eat something in the evening you have to go to the hotel's bar... Or grab the kettle in your bedroom and have yourself a tea or (instant) coffee.
Also, I think they had some problems with tourists not looking in the right direction before crossing the road...
But anyway... Here are a few more "meaningful" shots of the city.
Now, I climbed the 400-many stairs leading to the upper "deck" of Saint-Paul's Cathedral... The view I got there was stunning...
Now, in order to take a break from pictures, here are two videos... Westminster at night and Buckingham Palace. Please note that I had to greatly reduce the size and quality of those clips in order to make them smaller... Original versions are about 30 and 40 Mo.
