OK, here, as I promised, am posting some pictures I took while crossing Germany on my way from Summer Italy vacation. I think it was in 2000 but I might not be correct..... Anyway, enjoy! :D

BTW, we stayed in this wonderful Gasthof "Alter Wirt"!

Yeap that is why I love Bavaria. It is so beautiful here. If it were not for the economic and polotical situation here in Germany today, I would not leave in a couple of years. I will surely miss Bavaria when I do.

If you dont mind I will post my pics of Bavaria in here Pisis since I dont wish to start up a 2nd thread about it. We can consolidate it into one.

All of these photos are from Rotenberg O.D.T. It is a very old town about a 20 to 30 minute drive from my house. It is very famous for its old wall and old part of the city as well as Schneebaelle (litarally snowballs, except these are pastries shaped like snowballs that you can eat). Tourists from all over the world come to see this beautiful town, especially the Japanese!

Anyhow here is the start of the pics that I will post. I took these back in August when my nieces came to visit me.

I will post more pics of Bavaria as I get them off my external hardrive.

I would have to scan a picture of a map to show you exactly where it is however today it is where the old part of the town meets the new part of the town. ON the side where you are looking at the tower, there are several long strips with shopping stores. You can see part of them on the right hand side of the pictures. On the other side goes to the old wall and the old part of town. In fact if you take a left from here and walk about 300 meters you get to the Red Light District that we call "The Wall"

Well here are the next set of pictures that I pulled off my external hard drive. Some of these were taken from my helicopter.
