Looks like a failed model for the old sci fi show Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea. All it is missing is a conning tower. The real model is below.

Here's one of the crew members before she was in "I Dream of Jeannie."

No wonder we liked that show!

Since the "circuitry room" was attacked by everyone who visited the Seaview, why did they never post a guard there? Each time the sub would roll back and forth, and then go down and hit the same rock on the bottom of the ocean!

I don't remember much about the show but weren't there a few episodes where our heroes escape capture by going through the ventilation ducts? On a submarine.

This one flies, but doesn't submerge. Convair (COnsolidated Vultee AIRcraft) F2Y Sea Dart.

We have the last Sea Dart built (out of only five) at the Florida Air Museum, in Lakeland. That's at the Lakeland Linder Airport, where they hold the annual "SUN 'n FUN Aerospace Expo" (formerly Sun 'n Fun Fly-In), the second largest airshow in the world (second only to Oshkosh). SUN 'n FUN is coming in April 2022, so get your tickets ASAP! (Shameless Plug!) SUN 'n FUN Website

I don't know anyone who can pay the fuel bill to fly a B-52 except a government. Never mind the maintenance. Chances are, if you DID get one, it would be right on the cusp of needing new wings. Most still flying are on their third of fourth set of wings.

A flying beer keg.
Indeed: the duct was not a simple pass through tube but a true cylindrical wing. Static tests showed a marked increase in trust and therefore in efficiency of the propulsive system. Too bad the drag of the whole machine also increased. A classic win-loose situation. Too far ahead of its time because there wasn't yet any power plant both powerful and compact enough to make the whole 'ducted fan' concept work in a practical way on an airplane.
