This Saturday (8 October), our local air field will be having a Military Vehicle and Aircraft display that will also be a fundraiser for the local Police K-9 program.

The location is at Redding's Benton Air Center (O85) and there will be a pancake breakfast, Military vehicle and vintage warbirds on display.

Should be a nice turn out and many of the vehicles have already arrived.

Looks like a good show, and nice to see a Ferret, Abbot and Saladin.
I missed out on a photo-opportunity when on my travels, A 'low-loader' in front of me was carrying what I at first thought was a Tiger, with a 'shell hole' in the rear plate. As I passed it, I could see it was a mock up, built on what looked like a Abbot chassis, and might have been the 'stand in' for the real Tiger (from Bovington) used in the movie 'Fury', for the scene when it gets hit in the engine compartment.
