Not really surprised. After they allowed Communist symbols to be displayed and showmen from Moscow to ride on their bikes around the city... Disgrace.
 
Not raisin, but raisins - dry grapes (= candy, in a broad sense). Western aircraft were dropping bags of sweets & candies, attached by parachutes, to the children of Berlin during the airlift.
