Ok. And yes the guage was fitted with many ww2 German planes. According to a couple of the net sources the one associated with the Bf 109 should be the indicator for 600 - 3600 RPM and of the Fl.20220 or 20222-3 numbers for the erly Bf 109 variants. Let's say B to E one. The tachometer Fl. 20286 was for the 400 - 3600 RPM range and is listed for the Bf 110C, Ju 52 also Ju 88A4. However there is also possible that the your dial could be of the He 111D, P and H, Ju 88A1, indicator for 500/600 - 3000 RPM but then of the Fl.20284 number. Unfortunately we can't see the last digit of the Fl. number there. What makes the matter worse there was a couple of manufacturers making the indicators and these could varied in the appearance and RPM range. However the Fl. 20286 also covers the 600-3600 RPM range. So it might have been installed for the Bf 109E of 1940 for instance. Anyway there is no conclusive answer. But if the pieces were found at the crash site and the crashed plane is known so it means these are form the kite though.
IMHO I have found ... the dial seems to be of the Fl.20284-3 tachometer. The layout of the dial scale is very similar to the one you posted. Here three shots ... the left is like your one I think. It is not dated but seems to be mounted for the He 111. The one in the mid is a 1938 model also could be used for the He 111. And the right on is the Fl.20284-1 of 1938. All were made by the Deuta manufacturer. The RPM range is 500-3000 although the 1938 models are of 600-3000. I think there may be the digit "6" insted of the "5" on your dial. Just I might have read it wrong. Anyway the one with the range 500-3000 RPM covers the 600-3000 as well.
